There's a whole lot to do in this town, so we're here to help you keep track of the coolest events happening every day of the week, every week of the year. We've indexed LA's best venues, shops, galleries, and restaurants, and are opening up our research to your close inspection. Just bookmark this page and refer to it whenever you need something fun to do. Yep, it's that easy.

We split our events calendar into nine categories: Movies/TV, Comedy, Art & Exhibits, Music, Books, Comics, Gaming, Anime, Theatre, and Style & Culture. You can toggle these calendars on and off using the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the calendar on our main page.

How To...

Got a tip for an event that hasn't hit our calendar yet? E-mail us here and let us know the details. Know of a particular venue or website that we should be watching for future events? Let us know about that, too.

Getting listed on LA Lookout is completely free. However, we can't list every single event that happens on every block of LA every day of the week. Instead, we carefully choose which events are worth listing, so as not to crowd out the good stuff.

Advertisers:
We're looking for sponsors for this website, as well as prize providers for upcoming contests. If you would like to speak with us about either of these topics, just drop a note into our inbox with your proposal. As LA Lookout is still a shiny new service, we're open to hearing about whatever offer you've got in mind. You should be able to tell what kind of visitors we cater to based on the events on our calendar, so keep that in mind when reaching out to us.

Fellow Citizens of the Web:
Have a website, newsletter, or blog of your own? We'd love to discuss banner trades or other cross-promotion with you. Or maybe just get drinks at Blipsy's Barcade. So, if you feel like it... Say hello.

A note about your humble webmaster:
Oh, hey guys. My name is Alexei, and I run LALookout. I've been in LA for a little over six years, during which I've made it my mission to find all of the absolute most fun (and least expensive) things to do around town for a geeky guy like me. When I'm not out catching cult movies, comedy shows, or comic cons, I'm home writing about them for various websites. Like, say, Nerdist.com, Buzzine.com, or AnimeVice.com. I also write most of the content on this site, unless otherwise noted.
